Hosting a Dinner Party
I love hosting dinner parties. I love bringing people together over food and wine, and filling their bellies with a good meal and partaking in interesting conversation. But, how does the host make the event look so effortless? How are all the courses prepared ahead of time, how do you plan for the right amount of servings, what goes on the grocery list, and how do you create a meal that pairs together and suits different types of palates?
In this tutorial, we’ll plan for a main course, three side dishes, and an appetizer. We’ll create a grocery shopping list, a prep timeline, and discuss the logistics of cooking and serving the meal. We’ll cook a version of the meal together in your kitchen. You’ll be prepared to host and satiate 6-8 of your dear friends or family in your home.
All tutorials are non-refundable, but fully transferrable. In other words, if you no longer want the tutorial for yourself, it can be transferred to a friend (or your partner, wink wink). Tutorials may be rescheduled with 24 hours advance notice.
The “Hosting a Dinner Party” tutorial guarantees you will be able to plan, prep and execute a dinner party in your home. I am committed to guiding you through the process, and building your confidence as a cook and a host. If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please express them to me directly so I can guarantee our ensured success.
Please note that all food ingredients are purchased by the client and that tutorials take place in Brooklyn, Queens or Manhattan. Hosting A Dinner Party must be scheduled between October 1 - November 15.
